- Conventions

Payments which increase the balance are positive numbers.
Payments which decrease the balance are negative numbers.
Future values are withdrawals, usually entered as negative numbers.
- Floating Decimal
- Press 2nd Format 9 ENTER 2nd QUIT.
- Clearing Financial Data
- Press 2nd CLRTVM.
- Beginning Annuities
- Press 2nd BGN, then 2nd SET until BGN appears in the display, then 2nd QUIT.
- Entering Financial Data

Display the value, then press the financial key.
To enter P/Y, press 2nd P/Y, then the value for P/Y, then ENTER 2nd QUIT.
- Computing Values

Press CPT, followed by the financial key to be computed.
